She loves to watch movies, as long as they are not Sci-fi or anything to unrealistic. On her weekends she tries to always do something different, from soccer games to going to movies to hanging out with friends and clubbing. Biography of Chris Griffith
By: Paulina Potapova
Chris was born in a town called Indiana, (Pennsylvania). He used to live in the country with his family as he milked cows for a living. Living in a town of less than 2000 people he decided to move to a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now resides in a suburb with a simple two story house. Chris likes to spend his weekends either traveling home , visit his girlfriends house or hanging out with friends and playing video games. Chris likes to celebrate his birthday, he usually organizes a small ‘’get together’’ of close friends and will go out to eat with his family but sometimes hi will throw a party with a lot of people at his house just for fun. Chris has never been married but he just entered in a serious relationship. His priorities towards relationships are making the other person happy, having trust in each other, and making everything mutually beneficial. Chris’s favorite restaurant is Ruby Tuesday, but he can enjoy most types of food except seafood and anything too Asian or Indian. For the next Presidential Election Chris is not sure who he will be voting because a republican candidate hasn’t stepped forward yet, but he probably would not vote on Obama, because Chris does not believe in Obamas strategies and either a lot of his plans coming through even with a democratic super majority. Chris loves to talk in general, but the topics are mainly about school, computers or future jobs. Regarding the view about gay people, he will never try to force to be something they don’t want to be, however he strictly believe in heterosexuality and monogamy. Doing something new everyday that’s whats Chris would like to see the daily experience of life. Some days to wake up and work outside in the sun, others to stay inside and waste the day with a friend or even by himself.
Biography of Matthew Schwabenbauer
Matthew Schwabenbauer was born in Oil City, PA on January 26, 1988. After graduating from Oil City High School, he moved to Erie, PA to attend Penn State Behrend and majored in Journalism. This fall, he moved to State College, PA to attend Penn State main campus to major in Information Sciences and Technology. His favorite food is sushi but cheesey bread comes in at a close second. In his free time, Matt enjoys going to see live music or practicing with his band which is called We Are Forever. He doesn’t like very much besides music, but does like watching Penguins hockey from time to time. Matt rarely travels outside of Pennsylvania, but enjoys his frequent visits to Pittsburgh to watch music or see friends. Besides Pennsylvania, he has travelled to Ontario, Canada, San Francisco, California and Orlando, Florida. An interesting experience he had happened early in the semester. He was humming a song walking down a hallway and was stopped by another student. The student was a guitar player for a band and asked him to come try out for his band right then. The tryout went well and he is now their singer. Some fun facts he knows are: In February 1901, Dixie Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Atlanta, Georgia changed it’s name to The Coca-Cola Bottling Company, The Atlantic Giant Squid’s eye can be as large as 15.75 inches (40 centimeters) wide, and In 32 years there are about 1 billion seconds. 3 assumptions he used to have that were wiped clean are: bass players don’t get girls, college is fun, and he could never sing for a band. An upcoming event he has is a show he is playing with The Wonder Years on November 4th in Altoona, PA. His favorite things are: watching music, playing music, singing, downloading music, going to the movies and drinking beer.

Food:
Most of the team members can agree upon pizza, fufu, sushi, burgers, and beer.
Enjoyment:
We all enjoy kicking back to watch some sports. As a team we also like watching movies and listening to music, along with socializing and being with friends
Common Places visited:
The most two traveled places by the people of both teams are California and Florida.
Unique experiences:
The Penn State team was able to convey stories of football and our famous parties. While the La Salle team talked about soccer and clubbing.
Best Story Told:
The best story told by a team member was by Matt (not really but whatever works). When he was in high school he went to a minor league baseball game where he was asked by a stadium employee if he wanted to participate in one of the games that they perform in between innings and he said he would. The game was to spin with your head down on a bat 10 times then run and hit a baseball that was sitting on a tee. After spinning Matt starts staggering toward the tee but when he swung to hit the baseball he missed and fell over. All of this in front of a couple thousand people.
Fun Facts Learned:
The majority of our team members enjoy either watching or playing sports
Even though Tyron goes to school in Spain, he is originally from South Africa
Spending time with friends is something we all enjoy
Assumptions:
The Penn State team learned that our biggest problem actually wasn’t going to be the language barrier because the La Salle team members are very fluent in English as a whole. La Salle was able to predict that Penn State isn’t a huge area, but didn’t grasp how large a school it actually is.
Dates and Holidays:
The La Salle group recently changed their clocks back an hour because Summer Time is up. However the Penn State group doesn’t change their clocks back due to Daylight Savings Time until next week. The Pen State team will all be celebrating the end of the month with Halloween and then voting day on November second. Chris recently celebrated his birthday and Paulina has the next one in November. We all will be enjoying Christmas in two months.
Things in common:
As a group we all can enjoy animals, some vary from fish and lizards to the usual cats and dogs. We all like hanging out with friends. Partying is always an option for us. As a group we could of course watch sports or a movie. Our team also agrees that it is crucial to have a degree and get a good job out of college or continue education.
